About Mix Resto

Mix Resto is a mixture of different knowledge and skills that the team has acquired over the years in the restaurant business.

Menus at Mix Resto are created seasonally – a process that traditionally begins with the chef’s world travels.

Food and raw materials are respected and we work closely with local professional farmers and hunters and fishermen.

We try to use as much local produce as possible, but are not afraid to mix in high-quality ingredients from other countries. The same ideology applies to our wine list, which is available on our drink menu and as part of the degustation menu.

Our wine list is curated by top Estonian sommelier Ketri Leis.

Meet the Chef

My journey into the kitchen didn’t follow the usual path. For years, I worked front of house – welcoming guests, managing the floor, and creating memorable service experiences.

Everything changed in 2016. When one of our sous chefs moved on and we couldn’t immediately find a replacement, our then-head chef suggested I step into the role. Thanks to my background in culinary arts, hospitality, and pastry, I was no stranger to the kitchen – but it had been a while. Stepping behind the stove meant refreshing my skills and embracing the fast-evolving world of modern cooking.

Then came the pandemic. Like many, we had to pause. But that pause turned into reflection. With the encouragement of friends and family, I reopened Mix – this time not just as its founder, but as its head chef.

Today, every dish on the menu is personal. It’s a reflection of my journey, my taste, and my passion for bringing people together through food.
